Frequently asked questions

General guidance. The definitive indication is defined during consultation.

Who is Dr. Hugo Niebles?

Dr. Hugo R. Niebles Camacho is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He trained as a Medical Surgeon at Universidad Libre de Colombia (1998), with specialization in General Surgery and in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery at the “Dr. José Guerrerosantos” Institute (Guadalajara). His practice focuses on facial surgery, body contouring, extremities and post-bariatric patients, with care for local and international patients.

Where is the office and what are the hours?

The main office is at Hospital Real San José de Valle Real, Medical Offices Tower, Floor 12, Office 11 A, Av. Central Guillermo González Camarena 911, Residencial Poniente, 45136 Zapopan, Jalisco. Indicative hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Care in Tijuana, Baja California is also mentioned; confirm location and availability when scheduling.

How can I schedule an assessment?

You can request an appointment through the site contact form, by office phone at +52 33 3155 3347, by WhatsApp at +52 220 678 5231, or by email at dr.hugoniebles@gmail.com. The team confirms availability and lets you know what information is helpful for the consultation. The assessment does not imply a commitment to surgery.

What happens during the first consultation or assessment?

It is a space to understand your goals, review relevant history and explore general plastic or reconstructive surgery options. Guidance covers safety, realistic expectations and next steps. At the end you receive clear direction for your case; it is not the sale of standard “packages”.

Which procedures are most frequently offered?

Dr. Hugo Niebles’ practice areas are organized into facial surgery, body contour, extremity surgery and female aesthetic genital surgery. On the site you will find, among others, rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation (Face Lift / Deep Plane), breast augmentation and reduction, abdominoplasty, liposuction, mommy makeover, buttock augmentation, extremity surgery and female genital procedures. The definitive indication is always defined in an individual medical assessment.

What preparation is required before a procedure?

Instructions are provided individually after the assessment and once a plan is defined. They may include tests, medication adjustments, prior habits or specific care according to your health and the contemplated procedure. Do not rely on generic online information as your only guide.

What is recovery and follow-up like?

Recovery varies by procedure, anatomy and your individual response. During consultation, indicative timelines, care and warning signs are explained. Postoperative follow-up is part of the process: check-up visits and guidance to answer questions according to the agreed plan.

Do you see patients from other cities or abroad (medical tourism)?

Yes. We welcome medical tourism in Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta, and guide national and international patients. Initial contact, assessment and date planning can be coordinated. Stay, transfer and follow-up details are confirmed case by case; fixed logistics packages are not published on the site.

How much does a procedure cost?

Cost is determined during assessment according to the procedure, case complexity and what the plan includes (for example operating room, anesthesia and follow-up). We do not publish fixed fees because each plan is personalized. Avoid comparing prices alone without reviewing safety, indication and support.

Are results the same for everyone?

No. Results depend on anatomy, general health, the type of procedure and adherence to postoperative instructions. The assessment aims to align expectations with what is reasonably achievable in your case, prioritizing natural outcomes and safety.

What certifications support the practice?

The site communicates credentials linked to the Mexican Board of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Mexican Association of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery (AMCPER) and the College of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery of Jalisco. Confirm details for your case during consultation.

Does the website replace a medical consultation?

No. Site information is educational and general. It does not constitute a diagnosis, indication or promise of results. For clinical concerns or emergencies, do not rely on the form alone: for emergencies go to local emergency services.
